Un giovanissimo Frank Sinatra fu arrestato nel 1938 con l'accusa di adulterio (oggi sarebbe assurdo). Una viziatissima Paris Hilton fu messa dietro le sbarre per possesso di cocaina a Las Vegas (vorrei sapere quale vip non ce l'ha nella capitale del vizio!) nel 2010. Al Pacino venne arrestato nel Rhode Island nel 1961 per possesso di arma da fuoco.
Jimi Hendrix venne arrestato per possesso di droga all'aeroporto di Toronto nel 1969. Jim Morrison fu fermato dalla legge nel 1967 per violazione dell'ordine pubblico durante un suo concerto. A Jane Fonda furono messe le manette all'aeroporto di Cleveland per possesso di pillole sospette nel 1970 e per aver preso a calci il poliziotto che l'aveva arrestata.
Insomma anche i vip sono esseri umani, commettono errori e ne pagano le conseguenze. È vero non è sempre così, soprattutto in alcuni paesi del mondo, ma non negli Stati Uniti, dove anche un presidente può finire dietro le sbarre. Vip o cittadini vengono trattati tutti alla stessa maniera.
Dalle stelle alle stalle in un giorno o viceversa i vip di Hollywood hanno saputo rialzarsi anche dopo queste brutte cadute e tornare alla ribalta proseguendo una grande carriera.
